The platform was installed, as well as the struts beneath it.

     I created a platform by using brass mesh (tiny scale), then using scissors to cut (approximately) a 1/8" by 1/4" piece.  It was then installed by measuring (as best I could) where it needed to be, then scratching a line into the plastic.  The scratch was deep enough to hold the platform long enough to glue it into place.

     The posts were created by melting the sprue plastic, then very slowly stretching it apart until it made really tiny bars of plastic.  I chose the best one, then cut it in half (then half again, they're very small!) and placed them with bulldogs and glued them into place.
