There's not just a whole lot to report.. :)  I've been priming the ship with Floquil Military primer - an excellent product.  It sure separates fast, though; you practically have to shake it after every other sweep of paint.

I'm experimenting with a new kind of primer - silver, as recommended by a fellow at the hobby store.  There has been a problem with the red putty showing through the grey primer.  He pointed out the fact that the putty is going to absorb the paint at a different rate than the plastic, so it would take several sweeps before it was obscured.  Not only that, but the Voyager's hull color is going to be a bluish grey, so it will be a little more difficult for me to tell where I've been, and how heavily.

The only question with this is whether or not the silver will have a powder after it dries.  I've painted The Gimp (Enterprise-D) with silver, and am waiting for it to dry.  If I take a cotton ball and sweep The Gimp and it comes up clean, we're good!

The Voyager is drying, waiting for a possible application of silver.
