| I have come to the inescapable
conclusion that it will not be possible to precisely mask all the
crew quarter windows at this stage in the game. This was
realized, of course, after I painted 73 windows white and
colored 130 windows with a mechanical pencil.
Such is the price of education, I
guess.
Therefore, the next steps are to lay
in the fibre for the windows, completing the upper saucer.
What I'll do is allow a tiny hair out of the windows, such that when
the whole ship is together and painted, I can paint / graphite the
windows, then take an Exacto knife to the fibres sticking out, then
perhaps use window glue for the right effect.
