With a Little Help From...
-
Rick
Sternbach - you have designed a beautiful starship - it is a work of art
and you are to be commended for it. On one hand, my attempt to produce a
miniature of your work has taken unbelievable time and resources, but on the
other hand I have a tribute to your efforts in my living room. All Hail
Rick!
(Mirror of
model detail data)
-
Appreciation to
Colpar Hobbies, who's
knowledgeable and patient staff worked with me through this whole thing
-
Badger -
manufacturer of superior modeling equipment
-
Thank you's go to Greg J. and Marcus D. for their
assistance with the circuitry (and reminding me about Ohm's law - "Oh Yeah!"
)
-
Without Ed V.'s technical ideas, dremel tool /
accessories and butane soldering iron I'd've not had the results I did.
Thank you!
-
My heart warms to my daughter for all the times she told
me "That's really neat, Daddy!" when I showed her my progress during the
entire seventh year of her life
-
rCostelloe is responsible for the high quality images of
the end result - I appreciate the use of his equipment and his time and
expertise!
-
All my friends who've patiently listened to me babble
about this incessantly for over a year - thanx. :)
Internet Resources
-
Revell-Monogram
- your support sucks, but you put out decent models. Pay attention to the
details next time! The model re-issue was acceptable, but you guys provided
decals for windows that weren't on the actual ship just to look pretty but
you MISSED two escape hatches on deck 1! Don't even get me started on the
shuttle bay...
-
Testors - their
airbrushes and canned air blow alright - don't bother, use
Badger.
Their Model Master line is superior, however.
-
A big "Blow Me" to the
Federation
Starship Database for all their popups and
garbage. They used to be okay, but now they suck.
