You and I are hard pressed to tell law enforcement and Google to discuss appropriate use of facial recognition, but when someone like Microsoft gets on board, at least the discussion will happen and be taken seriously.

While positive, this also highlights that businesses have much more power then citizens.  Businesses are not “we, the people” – who you vote for matters.
